Founded by Frank L. Outlaw in 1961, Bi-lo is a chain of supermarkets which is mainly based in Mauldin, South Carolina, United States. It was first known as Wrenn and Outlaw. The company’s name was changed to Bi-lo in 1963 when Edna Plumblee, Outlaw’s secretary, won the store-naming contest conducted by the company designed to further establish their brand. The company aims to provide the public with the lowest prices for their high quality products and excellent services. At present, its chain already has 230 supermarkets. You can find a lot of branded products at Bi-lo including Tide, Pepsi, Hot Pockets, Pop Secert, Minute Maid and Budweiser. The supermarket also offers a lot of grocery items including frozen foods, canned goods, liquor, organic produce, bakery goods, meat and sea foods.
